Piet B. Behage’s new superyacht design: a convertible 24.7m

2015-10-Convertible%20F24_70-bigA 24.7 metre motor yacht is the latest design by Piet B. Behage, designer of luxury-innovative sail and motor yachts, custom or commercial boat since 1989 and member of the Netherlands Society of Yacht Designers and Naval Architects.
P.B. Behage brought together line and form inspired by hydrostatic and practical experience. His expertise in many related fields such as design, construction, engineering and material combining matches with spacious and elegant style to create a refreshing an innovative outlook on yacht design.
Created with long distance, family cruising in mind, this upcoming model is part of a new fast displacement range from the Dutch brand ranging from 18 to 28 metres in length.
The new design will feature large windows on the main deck, which will allow in plenty of natural light as well as provide guests with the most enjoyable views. Three possible and customizable accommodation arrangements to cater to charter, family and other needs are available.
An outside aft staircase on the main deck leads to a flybridge, a sundeck provided with extensive outdoor dining area and spacious sunbathing facilities, complete with barbecue, a mini-bar zone and the second helm station; an open flybridge with or without hardtop and complete aluminium mast. An open bathing platform is integrated in transom, while a stairway leads down from the main aft deck.
The vessel will have a cruising speed of 10.2 knots and will be able to reach long ranges. She will be built at Flevo Ship Holland, a shipyard based in Nijkerk, not far from Amsterdam.
