85m project White Lion presented by Nobiskrug and Yachtzoo

White lionWhite Lion, an 85 metre motor yacht, is the latest product of a collaboration among the German shipyard Nobiskrug, the superyacht brokerage firm Yachtzoo, yacht designer Igor Lobanov and interior design studio Nauta Yachts.
Currently in the engineering phase, Nobiskrug expects to lay the keel for project White Lion in the coming months, setting the estimated delivery time just ahead of summer 2018. Not being yet complete, the superyacht may have some structural changes to best fit the owners’ requests, while being fully customisable in the layout and some design aspects.
“Clients can benefit from an already developed engineering platform that has been designed to be customised to the client’s taste and requirements,” says Guy Marchal from Yachtzoo.
Key characteristics of the design is the vessel’s high volume, which allows very expansive accommodations for both the owner and his/her guests: over 130sqm for the owner’s quarters and up to 70sqm for the VIP staterooms are set aside. Igor Lobanov created a design that would be flexible enough to fulfill guest’s requirements for exterior entertainment areas such as a large beach club and dedicated pool deck. On the same deck technical areas for the storing of 10m tenders and a helicopter landing facility will be found, easily accommodated by the platform.
“We are sure that White Lion will seduce a lot of challenging clients” concludes enthusiastically Guy Marchall, showing all his satisfaction about the vessel.
White Lion will be constructed as one of the first vessels to adhere to the IMO’s Tier III propulsion requirements, set to take effect in 2016; a standard put in place to keep emissions to a minimum by introducing control technologies such as various forms of water induction into the combustion process.
