61m Just J’s launched by Hakvoort

Newly-launched-superyacht-JUST-Js-by-Hakvoort-665x499The 31st of October in Monnickendam (Netherlands), Dutch shipyard Hakvoort launched the 61m Just J’s, their largest superyacht built to date.
Just J’s, previously known as Golden Age YN248 project, is an important mark on Hakvoort’s timeline, as she is the first result of the yard’s main shed expansion to 65m, whose work started 2012.
Both the exterior as well as interior design of their latest superyacht is by Sinot Yacht Design, while her naval architecture, construction and engineering is by Diana Yacht Design, with easy technical accessibility and minimum maintenance requirements.
Just J’s features a well designed balance of indoor and outdoor spaces. One notable layout choice is the location of the four guest suites and VIP stateroom on the main deck, so that all guests will be able to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The main deck also hosts a large dining room and lounge. The owners’ suite is located on a private deck above, including the master stateroom with large skylight, two bathrooms, a study and a bar with sky lounge.
The bridge deck above features wheelhouse and facilities destined to the captain, the rest of the crew also being accommodated  on the lower deck in seven crew cabins forward.
The lower deck offers a gym in the spacious lazarette. Here are also two additional guest cabins.
The yacht will accommodate up to 14 guests over seven luxurious cabins. Other facilities on board include a dedicated massage room, a hammam and steam shower, a large pool on the sun deck and the ability to launch two large tenders from both port and starboard.
The yacht has been taken to a facility outside Amsterdam where she will have her mast fitted, and final finishings done before sea trials.
Right after Just J’s successful launch, Hakvoort is ready to start building a new 63m project, Zeus: the hull and superstructure are expected to be inside the main shed within the coming weeks.
