On its 6th year, the International Yacht Design Awards organized by A’ Design Awards and Competitions, a symbol of pride and distinction for the yacht design industry professionals, opens to submissions for its 2016 edition.
The A’ Design Awards aims to create an incentive for international yacht designers to come up with superior sustainable designs that are not only aesthetically appealing but include socially responsible, safe and environment friendly solutions. The Yacht Design Awards honors designers, manufacturers and yacht design companies from all countries by spotlighting the best yacht and boat designs worldwide.
International yacht builders, designers, refit yards and marine vessel manufacturers are invited to enter their projects to the 6th Annual International Yacht Design Awards: entries for power, sail and luxury yachts as well as their refitting and interior design proposal can be made online by registering and uploading a presentation of the yacht designs before February 28th, 2016.
Submissions will be judged by an international jury panel composed by academics, professionals and press members. Winning designs will be selected according to aesthetic qualities, functional and emotional aspects together with realization efficiency, ergonomics and human interaction.
An international audience of designers, press members and industry leaders yearly comes together to celebrate excellence in design at the A’ Design Awards’ Gala-Night Ceremony in Italy where winners are invited: each laureate receives the coveted A’ Design Prize, including the award trophy, design excellence certificate, multiple international exhibitions and PR for the winning design projects.
