European-Boating-IndustryEuropean Boating Industry and boot Düsseldorf, after organizing the International Conference for three years, announced the launch of a new type of event, the “International Breakfast Meeting”, an interesting opportunity to combine presentations, exchanges of ideas and networking during breakfast.
This first meeting will discuss the outcomes of the competitiveness study of the European nautical industries, a study carried out for the first time in 2015. Requested by European Boating Industry, the study was carried out by an international research company for the European Commission: its results will be used to better understand the challenges faced by the boating sector and develop policy recommendations for Europe.
One of the biggest challenges of the nautical industries is to get more people interested in boating. For this sake, some of the European countries, such as Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands have taken up various national initiatives.
At the International Meeting Breakfast in Düsseldorf, the German marine federation BVWW will officially launch its German campaign to promote boating.  During the event, special guest will be Robert Newsome, Vice President of the NMMA – National Marine Manufacturers Association, who will be presenting how the North American markets performed in 2014-2015 and what the identified trends are for 2016.
The event will be held on January 26th, 2016 from 8:30 to 10:45 at the Congress Centre Düsseldorf (CCD South, Room 6) on the boot fairground, and participation will be free for the exhibitors and the press. The meeting will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation into German.Programme, speakers and registration form are available on http://europeanboatingindustry.eu/news
