Designed from the ground up as robust Trim Tab systems for yachts, sportfishing boats, commercial, government and military vessels Bennett’s Premier Line Trim Tabs cover vessels from 30-120 feet.
Utilizing all stainless steel construction eliminates the corrosion issues caused by mixing dissimilar metals in a saltwater environment. The Premier Line incorporates over 50 years of Trim Tab experience and features several Bennett innovations.
Powerful hydraulic actuators have no exposed lines and are totally protected inside the boat. Two compact, dual acting hydraulic power units, each producing about 2,400 pounds (1,100 kg) of force needed to trim large, fast vessels in rough sea conditions.
Laser-cut 7-gauge (4.7 mm) stainless steel, heavy duty trims planes can be custom fabricated to fit the transom configurations of a wide range of vessels.
All of the systems include the three-in-one Electronic Indicator Control (EIC5000) — combining highly accurate indication, precise control and convenient auto tab retraction. Like the hydraulic lines, the sensor wires for the indicator are not exposed at the transom, protecting them from the harsh marine environment.
The XPT System: designed for high-performance boats from 30 feet (9 m) to 45 feet (14 m)
Installation is streamlined by full height backing plates with preassembled actuators, while five different attachment points for the actuator on the Trim Plane easily accommodate various transom angles.
All XPT Trim Planes and Mounting Plates are electro polished, not only does this look sharp, it also passivates the welds to further increase corrosion resistance.
The BXT System: designed for vessels from 40 feet (12 m) to 70 feet (21 m)
BXT systems typically use Bennett’s exclusive interlocking hinge system for outstanding strength and corrosion resistance.
The SST System: designed for vessels from 50 feet (16m) to 120 feet (38m)
The SST series has gained a strong following among luxury yacht builders such as Fairline (others?). The larger actuators and hinges easily handle the larger Trim Planes required on vessels up to 120 feet.
