MiniJet_WilliamsA new concept for a Minijet range of tenders has been revealed at the London Boat Show by Williams Jet Tenders.
The Minijet range is a concept for a compact leisure boat which could be carried on smaller boats and used for entertainment and water sports as well.
The Minijet will weigh a little less than 200 kg, around 100 kg less than the equivalent Turbojet model: its lighter weight and more compact dimensions will enable it to fit on boats less than 45 ft in length, and thus on a much wider range of power and sail boats.
According to the company, the new range of tenders will offer a better functionality, thanks  to its shallow draft and easy maneuverability. It will be powered by an inboard BRP Rotax Ace 900 engine, which will allow the MiniJet to reach a top speed of 30 knots.
William Jet Tenders, a well-known English company leader in tender building, made a much more accessible tender concept, opening its market to a much larger audience of small-boat owners.
Mathew Hornsby, Sales Director at Williams Performance Tenders, said: “The Minijet is a truly unique package for the smaller boat owner, with no compromise on the factors that matter most, remaining true to our core quality, performance and design engineering excellence.”
The first Minijet will have its international debut in September at the Cannes Yachting Festival and Southampton International Boat Show later this year.
