Rio Yachts at NauticSudRio Yachts, an Italian Shipyard from the region of Bergamo (Lake Iseo) this year celebrating its 55th anniversary, attended the NauticSud boat show held at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples. The historic Italian brand is strongly linked to Naples and its region Campania: it in fact owns a facility in via Scarfoglio 11 (Naples-Agnano), and the demanding clientele from the south appreciates it very much. Rio Yachts showcased three of its most important vessels.

Colorado 56
A new yacht for 2016, she is an evolution from the Colorado 54, with increased storage space for tenders and jet skis.
Featuring a sportive appearance, she allows for plenty of light thanks to its foldable hard top. A curved mirror glass door, which can be hidden in the ceiling, is one of the most characterising features of the vessel: when hidden, it helps conveying a fully open space feeling; while when closing the cockpit, it increases comfort even in less favourable weather conditions.  In this way, Colorado 56 becomes a vessel for all seasons suitable for uncommon voyages. As for its interior layout, it boasts impressive liveable spaces: 32sqm of common spaces and daytime activities, and 38sqm for the night-time spaces, divided into three cabins plus one for the crew, which make the 84% of the whole vessel’s volume, compared to a 16% dedicated to technical areas.

Parana 38
A 12-metre long vessel, Parana 38 features a sportive and innovative design, while being practical and fully equipped. The ample and convertible cockpit may be laid out in different configurations according to the owner’s wishes: either a large table for outdoor dinners (and an outdoor kitchen) or a sunbathing area for relaxing in day time on a comfortable chaise longue. The fully foldable soft top is a simple solution allowing for a perfect management of daily light and heat in the summer. The interior layout includes two full beam cabins and two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen with a transformable dinette, large windows to let the sunlight flood in, and elegant details and exclusive accessories featuring the classic Italian style.

Espera 34
An open 10 metres long vessel is a new entry in Rio Yachts’ production: the Espera 34 is the perfect icon of the new classic and yet innovative style undertaken by the shipyard. An ample convertible cockpit may be transformed into sitting area, sunbathing area or dining area: the fiberglass structure includes a fully equipped kitchen. In its compact interior, a dinette can be transformed into a double bed. Espera 34, in 2011, was nominated for the famous prize Compasso d’Oro  ADI, the most ancient and prestigious design prize in the world.
