The Kifaru Baby Yacht, a 13.34-metre open class yacht

Kifaru-Baby-YachtThe 13.34-metre Kifaru Baby Yacht is an open class mini-yacht designed for boating enthusiasts who are looking for a compact yacht or a luxury tender. Whether for day trips, explorations in hidden coastal area, or shuttle service between bigger yachts, the vessel’s quality, technical innovation and refined styling will make owners enjoy life at sea even more.
The high-tech tender uses Series 5000 (Paralum 5083H11) aluminum alloy, which makes it extremely lightweight (9 tons), while the addition of magnesium guarantees exceptional resistance to corrosion.
The hull was designed in the V shape structure coordinated by the world renowned Italian yacht designer Luca Dini. Designed to be easily operated by an average experienced owner, she features innovative retractable features to ensure that decks are clear of any accessories.
Kifaru collaborated with Naviop to develop a dedicated full integrated bridge system, including an integrated helm designed in-house. The dashboard is a single wheel and a touchscreen display to ease all operations on board, such as controlling navigation, safety, lighting, and entertainment system. To protect the bridge there is an aluminum canopy and crystal windscreen.
The foredeck is equipped with a pullout table of inlaid teak that provides shade on a sun-deck. There is a gangway hydraulically expandable to nearly 4 feet long, and the swim platform features a full-height shower on a retractable pole. Below decks, a cabin provides the owners with a large double bed, a comfortable bathroom with separate shower and a full accessory galley.
The mini-yacht, powered by two Yanmar 370 hp diesel engines, can reach a top speed of almost 45 knots, while keeping incredibly low fuel consumptions.
Luca Dini described his own project as a “fighter plane without wings”, and “a beautiful smart-boat”.
Cantiere Navale Italia, with over thirty years of experience in sports yachts, is one of the references for the Made-in-Italy quality and design, excellence and craftsmanship. The company has recently acquired the Kifaru Yachts Brand, founded in 2009 and famous for the launch of 63′ Askari.
