The Dubai International Boat Show 2016 began

assocImagThe Dubai International Boat Show, one of the most important events on yachting in the Middle East, opened yesterday its 24th edition: it is taking place at the Dubai International Marine Club until March 5th, and more than 30 thousand people are expected to attend the event.
The Show, which is located in a very strategic area for the economical growth and for an evolving market, will not only showcase yachts and luxury vessels, but also equipment, services, sailing yachts and related industry, maritime sports and fishing.
Among the expositors, there are many of the world-renowned Italian brands and groups, such as Ferretti Group, Azimut, Baglietto, Mondomarine, Cmc Marine, and the association UCINA Confindustria Nautica.
Ferretto Group is taking to the show seven yacht to represent its brands Riva and Pershing. The 76’ Perseo, in particular, the new coupé of the Riva fleet, is making her debut in the Emirates.
Azimut Yachs, whose latest models Azimut 72 and Magellano 66 are already sold out after a few months of their debut, appointed for the occasion a Gulf Service Manager, a specialized technician coming from the Italian Headquarter who is to coordinate all technical assistance and after-sales activities in the Gulf areas. The group also opened a new sales office in Dubai, which adds to the already existing ones in Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
Baglietto, the historic La Spezia-based Shipyard of the Gavio Group, is found inside the SYBAss area, the Superyacht Builders Association, the association that gathers and represents the main superyacht builders in the world.
Mondomarine from Savona displays at the show one of its latest jewels, the Serenity.
CMC Marine, a firm specializing in stabilization systems, steering gears for yachts and vessels exceeding sixteen metres in length, will attend the Dubai International Boat Show for the first time, in the area dedicated to Equipment Supplies & Services.
The SeaNet Group, leader in the design and supply of nautical equipment, will as well make its Middle-Eastern debut this year.
