Nautica Italiana will not attend the upcoming Venice Boat Show

GetAttachmentNone of the shipyards members of the association will attend the first edition of the Venice Boat Show organized by UCINA Confindustria Nautica this spring.

Lamberto Tacoli, President of Nautica Italiana, and  Giovanna Vitelli, Manager of the Azimut-Benetti and member of the association, announced that there will be no representation of the Association at the first edition of the Venice Boat Show, and none of its member will attend the show either.
The event, taking place from 21 to 25 April this spring, has been long wanted and organized by UCINA Confindustria Nautica in collaboration with Expo Venezia.
“We are not going to attend it even because of logistic reasons. What is the meaning of a Show on the Adriatic Sea when most of the national nautical industry is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea?”
Meanwhile, Nautica Italiana is working on the organization of a symposium, an event about boatbuilding but also about the excellence of the Made in Italy more in general. Nautica Italiana is infact partner with Altagamma, which also counts as members many different Italian brands, such as Ferrari (both the famous race cars and the equally famous sparkling wines), Frau and Illy. The symposium might be taking place inland, probably in Milan, which has confirmed to be the most lively and glamour city in Italy thanks to the Expo 2015.
