New sailing yacht Sybaris by Perini Navi

Perini Navi sailing yacht SybarisThe new 70-metre sailing yacht Sybaris has been developed in house by the Perini Navi Technical and Design office in collaboration with world renowned Philippe Briand, who took care of the naval architecture.
She features 72 and 62-metre masts, offering a total sail plan of more than 3000sqm, and boasts several innovations introduced to improve her efficiency and performance at sea.
Sybaris is a lightweight aluminum ketch with engineering systems especially developed to provide minimum energy waste, lower fuel consumptions, emissions, and maintenance costs, and an overall higher performance.
The yacht can comfortably accommodate guests in a spacious 30m long entertainment area located on the main deck. An additional amazing 18-metre flying bridge provides generous outdoor area for guests to relax, entertain or sunbath.
The interior design has been developed by US- based PH Design studio, which was chosen by the owner himself to create such internal atmosphere with fully custom-designed furniture.
“Working closely with the Owner, we wanted to create an interior that would be perceived as special and original in the yachting world,” explains Peter Hawrylewicz, Founder of PH Design. “The overall effect is modern with a remote reminiscence of old world travel; the allure lies in the confluence of these two temperaments.”
Luxury mega yacht Sybaris is the first Perini Navi yacht to feature 3 Variable Speed Generators that supply electrical power via a DC Bus to the vessel’s main electrical grid with the potential to store excess power in Class-Approved lithium polymer batteries. The exceptional advantage of Silent Running modes together with Peak and Trough Shaving during generator operations allow for unparalleled efficiency as well as reduced emissions.
The all-aluminium 70m mega yacht Sybaris (Hull C.2227) is powered by twin MTU 1440 kW diesel engines, reaching a top speed of 17,5 knots. Her maximum beam is of 13m, while her draught (keel up) is of 4,5m.
