Quntia-EssentiaThe Italian Sea Group launched their latest superyacht, the 55-metre Quinta Essentia, on March 24th. The largest yacht built to date by Admiral Yachts has been developed by an experienced yachtsman and is now cruising in Marina di Carrara, Tuscany.
Compared to other yachts of the same size class, Quita Essentia’s outstanding innovation is an advanced hybrid propulsion system involving the integration of two diesel engines together with two electric motors connected to variable speed generators. Such a system provides owners and guest with extremely silent and eco-friendly cruising, low fuel consumption and reduced emissions.
Her impressive exterior styling was designed by Dobroserdov Design from Monaco, while her naval architecture has been developed by Vripack and Michela Reverberi Studio is responsible of her elegant interiors.
The vessel can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in four staterooms on the lower deck, a generous owner’s suite on the main deck, a VIP cabin featuring a 180 degree panoramic view on the upper deck, and four cabins on the lower deck. This layout can also be customised, and the four staterooms can be converted into two larger cabins according to the owners’ wishes.
Propelled by twin MAN engines, Quinta Essentia is able to reach a top speed of 16.5 knots, with a range of more than 6,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 9.5 knots.
