yachtThe conference that will be held in Porto Cervo on May 6th, organised by the Federation of Maritime Agents Yachting Compartment, is the second edition of the Forum on Possible Luxury.
It will take place at the Cervo Hotel from 9.30 a.m. with a remarkable programme and relevant international guests from the nautical industry. The previous successful edition in 2015 focused on the “Robin hood syndrome”, which basically means that the large yacht market and the élite tourism are evolving towards a more welcoming dimension, but they also increase occupation, economy, job market and overall wellness of the territories where they land.
This year the discussion will be focused on the current and future outcome of the top-class tourism, on the fruition and the financing of the Italian artistic and cultural heritage.  Other themes of no less importance will be presented by the analysis of the development of the large vessel market in Italy. Federagenti, Nautica Italiana and CNA Nautica will attend the event and provide the attendants with their insights on the matter. This will include the role of Sardinia in a rational strategy to relaunch tourism in the North Mediterranean area, with great care on the consequences that would involve the territories and not only maritime locations.
During the conference, a special focus will also be on how the presence of megayachts impacts on territories from an economic point of view. The aim is to make the public opinion aware of those themes, thanks to the presence of Vittorio Sgarbi and the regional councilor of the industry in Sardinia, Maria Grazie Piras.
