Epiphany superyacht concept by Andy Waugh Yacht Design

epiphanyEpiphany is a 130-metre superyacht concept by Andy Waugh Yacht Design.
Her aesthetic is what impresses the most at a first sight: her simplified silhouette, emphasized by bold graphics, is meant to convey the classic “yacht form”. Like all classic designs, the vessel is elegant in a simplicity which is the result of a sophisticated balance between technical and ergonomic factors. Minimum styling has been applied to underline her practicality and generous volumes.
Many aspects of the Epiphany are more conventional than one would expect: her design is aimed to give an enhanced sense of openness and space.
The bridge of the vessel is unusually situated on the upper deck providing commanding views, a fold down wing-bridge retains the aesthetic of the rising bulwark. Aft of the bridge and main central lobby is an owners library and balcony overlooking a double height lounge on the ample owner’s deck below.
The stateroom has an increased ceiling height with skylights and views upon a private foredeck with seating areas and a Jacuzzi. Aft on this deck, a private cinema and an owner’s office for business travels can be found. Below the owner’s deck is located a VIP deck, featuring 4 VIP cabins with private balconies. A cinema and gaming area and an equipped gym and spa are also found on the VIP deck.
The main deck is conventional in layout with communal areas aft and guest cabins forward. Low bulwarks along the entire deck and full height glass give a sense of openness and space. The aft deck hosts the main swimming pool and sun lounging area, convertible into a helipad. there are two additional VIP cabins on this deck along with a further eight guest cabins.
This configuration could handle as many as 40 crew members and a large number of guests.
