Riviera Australia’s three European debuts at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016

Riviera Australia cannes2016Riviera Australia, the 2015 and 2016 Australian Marine Exporter of the Year, announced three European premieres among its on-water luxury motor yachts showcased at this year’s edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival. On display for the first time in Europe at Quai Saint Pierre 101 will be the new  5400 Sport Yacht, the 52 Enclosed Flybridge and the 45 Open Flybridge, together with the latest models released, 4800 Sport Yacht, 57 Enclosed Flybridge, the 575 SUV and 525 SUV, as well as Riviera’s new luxury and long-range Sports Motor Yacht designs of 68 and 72 feet.
Riviera international sales director Chris McCafferty so commented the choice of the Cannes Yachting Festival as setting of such an exciting debut for the new Riviera Australia models:  “It’s the perfect location to share Riviera Australia’s ethos of excellence and philosophy of creating ‘the ultimate boating experience’.” McCafferty said Riviera’s previous luxury motor yachts have been very well received in Australia and the Americas and he is certain the European market will be equally impressed.

Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht
“With key design cues taken from the very popular Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht, the three-stateroom, two-bathroom 5400 model is an inspiring evolution of the luxury indoor/outdoor, single-level living design for which our Sport Yacht series is highly awarded,” said Mr McCafferty.
A forward deck sun lounge space and a retractable cockpit sunroof allow owners and guests to fully enjoy the sunlight. The cockpit flows through to the aft gourmet galley and spacious saloon: a large window opens out to place the chef at the centre of the social scene.
Accommodation is provided across a luxurious full-beam master stateroom, a spacious VIP guest stateroom and the option for the portside guest stateroom.
The sports-inspired centre-line helm console of the 5400 Sport Yacht has excellent visibility and ergonomics so that all critical navigation electronics, comprehensive engine instrumentation and vessel controls are within easy reach of the central, deluxe Recaro electric-adjusting helm seat.
Volvo Penta’s Glass Cockpit navigation and systems monitoring system is integrated with two joysticks, one at the helm and one in her cockpit. Volvo Penta D11-IPS800 propulsion system with twin D11 engines and IPS20 pod-drives (2 x 441kW/626hp) powers the vessel.

Riviera 52 Enclosed Flybridge
The 52 Enclosed has a clever new cockpit layout as well as a superbly equipped aft galley that openly connects spacious saloon to the cockpit via the large awning window and sliding glass door,” said Mr McCafferty.
On the foredeck there is the option for a large sun pad to sunbathe and relax. The accommodation arrangement is composed of a three-stateroom/two-bathroom deck layout sleeping up to six adults.
The 52’s flybridge – enclosed on three sides allowing owners to enjoy it even in less warm seasons – is a revelation in terms of comfort, and a fully electric sunroof can draw in extra sunshine.
The modern command console and dash has enough room for three 17-inch screens and the helm’s electronics integrate seamlessly with the innovative and easy-boating navigation and systems monitoring features of Volvo Penta’s Glass Cockpit that is making boating even easier and more enjoyable.
Powered by Volvo Penta’s D11-IPS950 system with D11 engines and IPS20 pod-drives (2 x 725hp/533kW) – the 52 Enclosed Flybridge has joysticks at the helm and in the cockpit for easy docking, even in tight quarters. There’s also the option of an aft flybridge tournament station.

Riviera 45 Open Flybridge
The Riviera 45 Open Flybridge – powered by twin Cummins QSC 600 shaft-drive engines (2 x 478kW/650hp) – incorporates function and style within a comfortable blue-water hull design.
The 45 Open’s cockpit is designed for both fun and serious fishing, and features a spacious saloon for relaxation. Below decks there is sleeping accommodation for up to six people in three generous staterooms and the forward master stateroom.
The comfortable open-plan flybridge offers plenty of sunshine and fresh air and boasts 360-degree view with minimal interruption thanks to the lightweight hardtop. The flybridge is accessible from the cockpit via a moulded staircase.
