From Viareggio to Cannes, the best in the Italian nautical industry

marina-di-viareggioAt the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016, starting tomorrow, the best of the Italian nautical industry will be showcased. The biggest yacht builders from Viareggio will start this year’s nautical season with one of the most famous and attended rendez-vous in the Mediterranean area, right after the decision not to attend the Italian Genoa Boat Show. Nautica Italiana, of which Azimut Benetti and Perini Navi are associates, is looking forward to promote Viareggio as a possible location for a new boat show in Italy.
Azimut will showcase 17 models to present their 5 series: the newly created iconic Flybridge series, the Azimut 66, will be the protagonist of the show.
Benetti will present at least three of its successful models, among which the 35-metre Mediterraneo 116, while the brand’s big showcase will be in Monaco, where the last Custom models will be on display (45-metre Domani, 63,5-metre FB 264).
Perini Navi will attend the Cannes Yachting festival for the first time, maybe because of the decision not to take part in the Genoa Boat Show. Perini Navi will bring to Cannes its 38-metre Dahlak, which has been designed in partnership with Philippe Briand. The brand Picchiotti will be hosted in the same stand as Perini.
San Lorenzo, after three years of constant growth and impressive investments in La Spezia, will take part in both the shows in Cannes and Genoa. Its world preview of the 25-metre SL78, motoryacht, however, will take place in Cannes.
Fipa Group, another important group based in Viareggio, will attend Cannes with AB Yachts’ new AB 100  and the new Maiora 33 FB.
Mangusta-Overmarine will bring its new Mangusta Oceano 42, the first three-deck in the long-range series of the  Mangusta-Overmarine group. A hull from the series Mangusta 110 will also be displayed in Cannes.
