A new 120-metre trimaran superyacht concept by Echo Yachts

img_11251Australian-based Echo Yachts, designer Sam Sorgiovanni, and One2Three Naval Architects have recently released the latest outcome of their collaboration: a new 120-metre trimaran superyacht concept.
Taking inspiration from the casual Australian lifestyle, which is much influenced by the close contact with the environment, the sea, sand and climate offered by the fact of living on an island, the new concept has been developed and engineered to be a seaworthy and comfortable superyacht.  The new 120-metre design offers owners and guests generous interior spaces along with the ocean going capabilities typical of a multihull platform.
Onboard features include a touch and go landing pad located on the foredeck, an additional sundeck helipad, al fresco dining areas for up to 26 guests, and a private owner’s outdoor entertainment area featuring a pool. A large tender garage houses the yacht’s fleet of tenders.
At-speed and at-anchor gyro stabilisers are meant to ensure a smooth ride at all weather and sea conditions. A hybrid propulsion system is expected to allow for a top speed of 20 knots, and a range of 5,000 nm.
