Waterevolution, a model for sustainable future for the maritime industry

waterevolutionThe Waterevolution event, promoted by the Tuscan superyacht builder VSY, will be held in the stunning Villa Marigola in San Lorenzo di Lerici on Wednesday October 26th at 6 p.m.
The event is meant to celebrate the first anniversary of the international acknowledgement of the Waterevolution platform as a Blue Solution (a best-practice example in the United Nations) for the maritime industry, and the start of the work table of the Italian nautical industry around the themes of sustainability as a great occasion for the relaunch of the industry.
Thanks to computational sustainability, the research institute Eulabor Institute and the Italian shipyard VSY have realised a very important objective, that allows to improve the environmental print of the companies of the maritime cluster, while reinvesting resources in relevant scientific programmes on environmental responsibility and protection and preservation of the sea.
The upcoming event marks an important milestone in an industry which is already looking at the future with a sustainable model aiming to be shared in the whole Italian yachting sector, taking place in a perfect location: La Spezia is already the headquarter of strategic activities of the maritime cluster, and it also has a very particolar natural environment to preserve.
This well renowned model is based on process optimisation and preservation of the environmental resources, and it is able to keep together all crucial aspects of the sea economy, enhancing a really sustainable development for the territories and local communities.
