Bering 130, a new 40-metre expedition yacht unveiled

bering130Bering Yachts’ expedition line counts a new 40-metre vessel, the Bering 130. The shipyard, which usually builds semi-custom yachts ranging between 15 metres and 24 metres, is now entering the superyacht market with the unveiling of such a larger project, which is going to become the yard’s flagship.
Bering 130 has been designed by Australian-based Sabdes Yacht Design, featuring the distinctive lines of an expedition yacht: the tri-deck superyacht looks simple and functional.
Accommodation will be provided for up to 10 guests across four staterooms and one master cabin, all of which consist of queen sized beds and en-suite heads. The yacht will also feature a fully equipped gym and massage cabin. Comfort will be enhanced by great attention to entertainment areas: a large sundeck on the flybridge will feature plenty of space for relaxation, including lounging, sun-pads, a wet bar and a Jacuzzi.
Inspired by modern steel North Sea commercial ships, built at high quality Scandinavian naval architectural standards, Bering 130 will be able to travel over 6000 nautical miles, thanks to an impressive fuel capacity of 17,000 gallons.
