The Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous, the first international event dedicated to the high-end nautical industry opening the 2017 spring season, is taking place in Viareggio from May 11th to 14th.
The exhibition will be displayed along 50 thousand square metres of water inside the Viareggio docks, and along the famous Via Coppino, the centre of the Italian nautical district.
Alongside with the boats in the water, the event has been developed around three thematic areas, where the Italian brands of accessories and components will be presenting their best products featuring advanced technology, functionality and innovation.
The Tender&Toy area will host companies producing state-of-the-art tenders and other leisure solutions designed to complete the experience onboard large yachts.
The Superyacht Marina will offer an insight on the touristic ports which offer facilities and quality services especially dedicated to the large yachts.
The Superyacht Equipment and Component will gather a choice of accessories and components manufacturers for superyachts.
The four-day event will present a different theme each day. Design will be the main focus of Thursday May 11th, gastronomic excellence will be explored on Friday May 12th, then art on Saturday May 13th and fashion on Sunday May 14th will complete the programme organised in collaboration with Fondazione Altagamma, representing the cultural and creative high-end industry in Italy.
One hundred international companies have to date confirmed their presence at the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous. Among the exhibitors, there will be the first three yacht and superyacht builders in the world, all representatives of the world-renowned Made in Italy : the Azimut-Benetti Group, the Ferretti Group and Sanlorenzo Yachts. Other remarkable attendances will be Baglietto, Perini Navi, Evo Yacht, Apreamare, Cerri Cantieri Navali, Cantieri Sarnico, Colombo and Giorgio Mussini. For the maxi-rib sector, the main companies represented will be Anvera, Cantieri Magazzù, Sacs and Tecnorib. International brands attending the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous include the Princess Group and Bertram.
The event, strongly wanted by Nautica Italiana, has been organised by Fiera Milano, in collaboration with the Technological District for the Nautical Industry and Ports in Tuscany, with the support of the Municipality of Viareggio and the Region of Tuscany.
