The Nautical sector and Design in Versilia

Nautica Italiana organises the conference “The Nautical sector and Design – Market, industry and lifestyle” during the first edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous.

A debate among entrepreneurs and designers belonging to different sectors will be held at the Perini Navi headquarter (Viareggio- Area VYR) on Thursday May 11th at 3 pm with the aim to find out the market trends and to foresee the evolution of the onboard needs.

The convention will outline an overview on the strategic role of the design in the high-end industry, especially in the nautical sector, which is among the excellences of the made in Italy. Every yacht is in fact an original synthesis of several aspects of the Italian savoir-faire: technology, innovation, craft and design.

The event, moderated by Elle Decor Italia’s managing director Livia Peraldo Matton, will be opened by data presented in the Superyacht Market Monitor, held by Altagamma and Deloitte and presented by Arnaldo Branchini, Altagamma’s Vice President and Tommaso Nastasi, Deloitte Italia’s partner.

Among the speakers, there will be: Perini Navi’s president Fabio Boschi, Nautica Italiana’s president Lamberto Tacoli, Altagamma’s president Andrea Illy, Technogym’s president and manager Nerio Alessandri, Ferretti Group’s president Alberto Galassi, Poltrona Frau Group’s manager Dario Rinero, Sergio Rossi’s manager Riccardo Sciutto, Azimut Benetti Group’s vice president Giovanna Vitelli, Dan Lenard from Studio Nuvolari Lenard, Piero Lissoni from Lissoni Associati, Mario Pedol from Nauta Yacht, Laura Sessa, Andrew Winch from Winch Design Studio.

The Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous was created by Nautica Italiana and organised by Fiera Milano in collaboration with Distretto Tecnologico per la Nautica e la Portualità Toscana, supported by the region of Tuscany and the Towns of Viareggio, Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi. The event promises to be very important for the territory and to enhance the excellence of the local and national shipbuilding production.
