Benetti Lejos 3, new 38-metre motor yacht launched

Benetti launched their latest 38.1-metre motor yacht belonging to the Italian yard’s Fast Line, from their facilities in Viareggio on Tuesday, May 23rd.

Previously known as project BF104, and named Lejos 3, the new motor yacht is the fourth unit built of the Fast 125’ and her launch follows the recent market debuts of the three other units of the series, Skyler, Ironman and Constance Joy.

Her sleek and sporty exterior design has been developed by Stefano Righini. Divided across four decks, the yacht offers a saloon/dining area on the main deck and another smaller living area on the upper deck. The sun deck is designed entirely for guest entertainment, with the sun deck swimming pool or the larger custom pool in the bow of the upper deck.

The interior design is by Redman Whiteley Dixon. For the Benetti Fast 125, the Italian shipyard has developed three interior decoration options, Air, Land and Sea: the option chosen by Lejos 3’s owners is the most contemporary, based on the Air configuration.

Lejos 3 can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across four VIP cabins and the owner’s suite. Accommodation is provided also for a  crew of 8.

Lejos 3 is fitted with the Azipull Carbon propulsion system, developed jointly by Benetti and Rolls Royce. Designed specifically for Fast 125’, the system delivers excellent performance in terms of both weight reduction and handling.

The technical innovations installed on-board include the D2P_Displacement to Planing® hull – designed by Pierluigi Ausonio in collaboration with the Azimut Benetti Research & Development centre – with wave piercer, which allows the yacht to be used both in displacement mode for reduced consumption at low speeds, as well as in planing mode at higher speeds, offering maximum comfort on board in both cases.
