Invictus Yachts 240CX to debut in Cannes

Invictus Yachts announced that its latest design, the 7.45-metre boat 240CX, will have her official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

The CX series offers all the winning elements that made the Italian brand successful: attention to detail, focus on the best performance and beauty. All the boats of the series feature a performing hull (the same as the X series) equipped with a living area located amid-ship and an innovative new liveable space below-deck, housing a real cabin.

The 240CX offers a new way to enjoy pleasant days at sea. As the elder sister 280CX, the new boat boasts several amenities  and high level of comfort in a small space.

Christian Grande, who is responsible of the boat’s design, gave the 240CX sleek lines while maintaining good cockpit depth. The helm has a stand-up driving position, and it can become part of the aft dining area. The piloting console vertical shape has been ergonomically set in order to allow for a precise guidance. The pilots’ seat offers a tiltable backrest which acts as a bench facing the stern or as a supplementary table to be used with the L-shaped sofa. A foldaway bimini top covers the living area to provide shade or protection from a shower.

A clever arrangement of the onboard spaces creates convivial places designed to offer maximum comfort. In the cabin, the head folds away into a dedicated cabinet and there is a large storage locker to port of the companionway. Twin windows let in plenty of natural light and enhance the boat’s appearance.

An outboard motor powering up to 250 hp is available and allows for a remarkable performance.
