CCN Superyacht Elsea to debut in Cannes

50m performance superyacht ElseaItalian yard CCN’s new 50-metre superyacht Elsea will be debuting at the next edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival. The very first performance superyacht by CCN features a lightweight aluminium alloy hull, a sleek profile, and a top speed of 30 knots.

Elsea’s exterior design was developed by Studio Bacigalupo, and it features a sporty, low-riding superstructure with a curved section aft. A generous foredeck, larger than in most other yachts of the same range, will comfortably host social occasions, with its U-shaped lounge for eight, table, and a group of sunbeds.

The upper deck features an enclosed pilothouse and saloon forward, and aft sky deck for outdoor living. Climate and sunlight control are provided by openings in the hardtop, which allow to better enjoy alfresco meals and swims in the swimming pool. The exterior is seamlessly connected with the upper saloon, with circular sofa and bathroom. Another day head is part of the large beach club at the transom.

The interior styling and design is by Studio Vafiadis and it features an updated art-deco theme, mirroring surfaces, fine hardwoods, onyx, Lalique crystal details, custom fabrics matching the furniture and other decor. Stones and woods were cut to razor-thin veneers, with lightweight modern materials to keep weight as low as possible.

Accommodation on board is provided for up to 12 guests, in a six-stateroom layout including five guest cabins and a full-beam master suite. The main saloon features a generous social area aft and a dining table for 12.

An additional impressive feature of Elsea’s is audio systems: the owner was looking for a Riviera-inspired look to his yacht with a sound system that could rival the best nightclubs in Ibiza, and Imperial Yacht, which oversaw construction, made sure to provide the yacht with the most impressive audio system ever seen on a yacht.

After attending the Cannes Yachting festival, Elsea will also be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show.
