ClubSwan 125 38.1 sailing yachtNautor’s Swan announced a new 38.1-metre sailing yacht to be added to its ClubSwan series, the ClubSwan 125. ClubSwan 125 will become the Finnish yard’s new flagship series, overtaking the Swan 115 series, which counts four hulls to date, including Solleone, Shamanna and Highland Fling XV.

Naval architecture and exterior design of the new series will be carried out by Juan Kouyoumdjian. He commented: “Each super maxi yacht is unique, but few will go as far as the new ClubSwan 125 to merge style and performance. Below deck you will marvel at the attention to detail and the space, both of which exemplify the experience of being afloat at its best, at the helm you will be immersed in the sensation of sailing the fastest monohull ever conceived.”

According to Nautor’s Swan vice-president and director of ClubSwan Yachts Enrico Chieffi, the new design embraces the yard’s heritage as well as looking to the future. He added: “We have several new projects currently under construction making full use of the skills and knowledge of Nautor’s Boatbuilding Technology Centre. The ClubSwan 125 [is] evidence that the yard continues to invest in extending its range — both the established Swan Yachts and the new ClubSwan models.”

The first hull of the new series of sailing yachts is expected for launch in 2019, and she will be delivered to a “knowledgeable and skilled racing owner”, as described by Nautor’s Swan.

The Finnish yard is currently working on other superyacht projects, such as the first Swan 95 yacht, Lot 99, which is expected to debut at next month’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
