Rosetti Marino, an Italian shipbuilding group specialising in the construction and engineering of offshore supply vessels, ocean-going tugboats and passenger ferries, has recently announced it will enter the superyacht sector with its new Rossetti Superyachts division.
Already well-established on the global Market as commercial vessel manufacturers, the Rossetti Marino Group now wishes to become one of the leading Shipyards in the new-building of high-end superyachts and Supply Vessels from 40 metres to 150 metres in length.
Rosetti Superyachts chairman Fulvio Dodich boasts a long experience in the superyacht industry, with past management position at Ferretti and Sanlorenzo: this ensures proven shipbuilding and engineering skills, which will allow the new division to offer clients a range of luxury superyachts, longer-range supply vessels as well as expedition yachts.
“We took the decision to launch this initiative based on Rosetti Marino’s remarkable experience, solid financial background and exceptional facilities to create a series of high-level superyachts with semi-custom or fully customisable identities, as well as providing technical excellence and innovative solutions,” says Dodich. “We are proposing Made in Italy yachts that are designed and built to the highest technical and safety standards that distinguish the whole Rosetti Marino Group of companies.”
Italian designer Tommaso Spadolini has been tasked with creating a preliminary concept fleet of vessels ranging from 48 metres to 85 metres in length. A first look at an 85-metre project has already been conceptualised, and more details about it and the rest of the Rosetti range will be unveiled later this month at a press meeting in Milan.
