Sanlorenzo SL78Sanlorenzo Spain, the exclusive agents for Sanlorenzo in Spain and the Balearic Islands, have recently announced the sale of a new build SL78 unit to a Northern European client, a very experienced yacht owner who is new to the Sanlorenzo brand.

SL78-682 is the 13th hull of the 24.6-metre Sanlorenzo SL78 model, which was first introduced to the market in 2016 at the Cannes Yachting Festival. SL78-682 is also the 10th new-build Sanlorenzo superyacht sold by Sanlorenzo Spain.

The SL78 model has been carefully designed to match the brand’s ‘innovation into tradition’ philosophy which acts to maintain the heritage styling which allows each Sanlorenzo to be easily identifiable and timeless. As with all Sanlorenzo yachts, the SL78-682 has been tailored to meet the requests of her owner, who plans to cruise extensively in the Mediterranean over the next few seasons.

Onboard spaced feature the expected luxury and comfort. Her flybridge boasts generous and uninterrupted relaxation spaces. Unparalleled natural light is achieved throughout her interior, including her main deck living area which benefits from optimised bulwarks, allowing sunlight to cascade through large windows and contributing to unhindered panoramas of the surrounding coastline.

Comfortable and luxurious accommodation is provided for eight guests across four cabins. The spacious owner’s stateroom is located amidships on her lower deck along with a VIP stateroom and two twin berth cabins. Additional crew accommodation is available on board for up to three crew members.

An innovative aft garage system, allowing for larger spaces on the flybridge, can store a jet tender of up to 3.95m, which can easily be deployed thanks to an innovative hydraulic launching system.

This new build unit will be powered by the more powerful twin 1622 HP MTU 10V2000M96L engine option, which can achieve a maximum speed of 29 knots.

Hull 682 is currently under construction at Sanlorenzo’s facility in Ameglia and is scheduled for delivery in June 2018, after which she will cruise to her home berth in Puerto Portals, Mallorca, Spain, for the first time.
