CMC Marine SR Short Range Stabilizing SystemStabilis Electra, CMC Marine‘s innovative range of stabilising systems for the superyacht industry, has been broadened to three models, the Long Range (LR), the High Speed (HS) and the Short Range (SR). The latest of the three, which was designed to be applied to small and medium-sized boats, will be on display for a première at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.

Since the launched of Stabilis Electra, the world first electrically actuated stabilizing system, in 2008, CMC Marine has confirmed its leadership in the field of electrically driven thrusters and steering systems, acknowledged through the release of two European Patents on its products.

SR Short Range System arises from Stabilis Electra System experience, with the aim to transfer the brand’s technology on boats up to 20 metres. Deeply innovative, this system combines the last generation Brushless Torque electric engine (available in three different sizes) with an adaptor.

This new system, featuring a unique design, guarantees great compactness, reduced weights, low energy consumption and an easier installation. Moreover, it is important to highlight how this system could also work with a 24V DC power supply.

Main features
• Suitable for 50-feet yachts • Maximum compactness • Two different sizes for 3,5 kW and 5 kW motors • Very low cost gap between different sizes • Easy installation • Extremely reduced weight • Same operating principles of Stabilis Electra – SE System • Power source: 220 V mono- and three-phase; 24 V DC supply through battery group.
