Quando montate qualcosa, non è difficile ritrovarsi con dei bulloni stretti troppo o troppo poco . Fortunatamente, alcuni ingegneri molto intelligenti hanno avuto l’idea di creare questo SmartBolt. Questi bulloni vi dicono quando sono stretti abbastanza.Progettati per uso industriale, ma anche medico/chirurgico, gli SmartBolt hanno un semplice indicatore colorato sulla loro capocchia: se è rosso, vuol dire che il bullone non è ben stretto, se è verde, avete fatto un buon lavoro. E se diventa nero, significa che potete ancora stringere di un paio di giri.
Ogni bullone ha una durata di 20 anni (che in realtà non è tantissimo, per alcuni usi) dal momento che gli SmartBolt usano semplicemente la compressione dei fluidi per misurare e produrre l’indicazione cromatica in tempo reale. Questo significa che non ci sono parti in movimento.
