Cantieri di Pisa, one of the historic brands of the Italian yachting industry, which changed owners in the last months, is now back with the intention of preserving the identity of the shipyard, world known for its seamless aesthetic innovation and superior quality. The shipyard recently announced its latest design for the Kitalpha 22 luxury yacht. Only 22-meters long, the new yacht will be easily able to find place in busy marinas and will allow her owners to get closer to the coast and reach beautiful coves and bays even in the shallows.
The unusual and yet clever arrangement of the spaces and facilities for a 22m only, is the key point in this unveiled design by Cantieri di Pisa, not to mention a unique and elegant layout. A tender is carried on the aft main deck, and the area occupied by it becomes an open space for relaxing -with loose outdoor furniture that can be arranged in flexible ways and plenty of accessories to increase the comfort on board. The lower aft deck houses a beach club from where owners and guests may enjoy the view when the transom door is folded down. The fold-down door can also become an additional living space, fitted out with some loungers.
Glass doors allow two different configurations of the living spaces: when closed, they allow the space to be air conditioned without losing ample views upon the surrounding landscape; otherwise they can be slid back and give the area and open air feel. Accommodation is expected to be in four cabins for guests.
Two different hull construction materials have been considered, steel or light alloy.
