SymmetrySinot Exclusive Yacht Design, a design studio based in the Netherlands, unveiled their latest creation: the 180m concept Symmetry. The name Simmetry is a reference to the most peculiar characteristic of her design: the superyacht concept is bi-directional, which creates a symmetrical appearance allowing an improved maneuverability and safer tender transfer operations. The wheelhouse features a dual steering arrangement to facilitate the bi-directional abilities of the vessel.
BMT Nigel Gee LTD supported the project by overseeing the naval architecture of the design, ensuring Symmetry to keep her promises about her stunning proposed steering characteristics.
Spread over six decks, the vessel’s size adds up to a gross tonnage of 18000 GT and 1000sqm. Each deck has been designed and styled with a specific function in mind. The beach deck features a large midship lounge with seawater pool and float-in tender bay. Floating pontoons are erected to further extend the area and enhance the island-feel down here.
The hotel deck above is where guests can fully relax, with a selection of lounges, bars, even a garden, gym facilities and an exterior swimming pool.
A private owner’s deck allows the owner and his-her closest guests to enjoy a private spa, an office space, a library and an exclusive exterior deck with lounge seats and infinity water feature.
Sander Sinot’s design displays a distinctive layout that comfortably accommodates up to 34 guests. A crew a 48 members will also be living on board across 30 dedicated cabins.
The vessel is designed to be driven by a set Azipods on either end, making her extremely maneuverable, with a top speed of 20 knots.
