Luigi Gianneschi, Founder and President of Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers srl and member of UCINA, has passed away at the age of 69
Luigi was widely respected across the marine industry for his friendly, diplomatic approach to business. He began his activity as a sole craftsman. At the end of the 70s thanks to his insight/intuition and professional ability he decides to take on another adventure investing in a new business, he passed from a rewinder to an entrepreneur. The company took a significant change, going from repairing to production of nautical products: pumps, water pressure systems, electric fans, engine pumps, compressors and water heaters. Products created with selected materials like bronze and s/steel which are made to guarantee to last longer in any type of difficult environment such as marine.
In 2002, thanks to his entrepreneurial skills and his constant support and back up from his sons Cristiano and Alessandro, they introduce innovative products on the market such as The Control Fan and The Control Pump which enable Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers to work and have substantial success with the mega yacht field. In a short period of time, the name Gianneschi became well known for its quality and reliability , not forgetting that its success is mainly due to the President’s natural ability to creating a significant and good feeling between himself and his clients.
In 2006, to satisfy the increasing requests nationally and internationally Luigi Gianneschi took part once again in important investments at structural, productive and logistical level. To guarantee an elevated level of professionalism of assistance and the reparation of products was opened Gianneschi Service in February 2005.
In 2012 he has introduced an innovative product that it’s called like him: Gigetta, ultrafast self-priming el/pump made of two stage with dual impeller system
More recently he took another challenge investing in a new production facility – just completed in March 2016 – whose destination will be processing of stainless steel with particular focus on the production of stainless steel tanks and water heaters through the purchase of new automatic and semi-automatic machines of the latest generation such as laser cutting and welding.
Luigi was an active member of UCINA General Council for production of accessories and equipment sector, he has contributed a great deal to improvement marine industry
Luigi’s career spanned decades and his passion, commitment to his work and love of his clients created a unique business, driven by entrepreneur and technical talent and a genuine desire to create the most technically advanced products. The company will be now manage from the sons Cristiano e Alessandro with the support of the wife Rita.
