RINA and Lega Navale Italiana: a new partnership for the yachting industry

leganavale_rinaThe Italian Naval Register (RINA) and Lega Navale Italiana have signed an agreement to develop in partnership a series of initiatives concerning the yachting industry as well as the protection of the environment of the sea.
Rina will undertake an extensive work in the classification, inspection and certification services, while Lega Navale italiana will give its contribution thanks to its primary experience in the boating industry.
This newly established collaboration counts among its objectives the aim to better define the professionals in the nautical sector and possible training and evaluation courses which would be able to create identified professions as a series of abilities, knowledge and competences.
In order to continue to develop and to improve the standardisation of the processes, the national direction of Lega Navale has started the certification procedure of the Quality Management System for the 96 Centres for the Nautical Education spread all over the country.
