tabooTaboo, a new 90-metre ice-class explorer superyacht concept has been unveiled: designed by a partnership between New York-based Gill Schmid Design and Tim Dempers Studio from Cape Town, she is the ideal vessel for an adventure-seeking owner.
The yacht’s exterior styling is characterised by sophisticated lines and monochromatic surfaces.
An open double-height tender bay with A-frame lifting arrangement, and a helipad with retractable enclosed helicopter garage and a further enclosed tender garage on the lower deck for 14+ metre tenders are featured onboard and allow for plenty of trip possibilities when the yacht is at anchor.
Taboo’s amenities include two Jacuzzis, a large gym & spa area, a cocktail lounge, a generous beach club and pool area, guest lounges and an aft summer house which can be converted into another lounge area, additional VIP guest quarters, or casino. The yacht also features a glass pool lined either side with exotic aquariums.
Accommodation onboard is provided for 26 guests and a crew of 40. A spacious full-deck master suite with private offices, lounge and private outdoor deck space will comfortably host owners.
