Bilgin 156 Superyacht upcoming launch

Turkish yard Bilgin Yachts announced the upcoming launch of one of its latest yacht project, the Bilgin 156, by the end of July.

Bilgin 156 features engineering, naval architecture and design by Unique Yacht Design. The exterior recalls a more traditional style if compared to previous Bilgin models, while retaining a modern look thanks to soft curves on the superstructure mated to the straight hull lines.

The exterior layout has been designed with pleasant living in mind: generous open decks, a Jacuzzi and social area forward, and a beach club at the stern ensure plenty of outdoor spaces for entertainment and relaxation. The clever layout arrangement allowed for best use of common spaces: for instance, the tender garage located along the hull sides allows for greater space at the stern beach club.

Bilgin 156 offers two expansive open-plan saloons, a large owner’s suite, and a magnificent central stairway which is quite unusual on a yacht this size. The stairway, styled with copper walls, glass and marble steps, features an open centre that bathes several decks in natural light from above.

Interior styling by H2 Yacht Design is furnished with commissioned custom pieces by Bilgin itself, to match the yacht’s woods, stones, and room shapes.

The owner’s living space includes an office, en-suite bathroom, and a private foldout balcony, again an uncommon feature on a yacht this size. Four guest staterooms below decks, when combined with the master, provide comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests. A crew of 24 is also accommodated onboard.

As for performance, Bilgin 156 is powered by twin 1,450 hp MTUs, which allow for a top speed of 16 knots, and a cruise speed is 12 knots, with a range of 5,500 nautical miles.
