stefano-righiniStefano Righini, among the best renowned names in the Italian nautical industry, has been given Altagamma’s Honorary Membership in Rome, on Tuesday, November 22nd.
“The recogniton of Stefano Righini as Honorary Member of Altagamma and Ambassador of the Italian Excellence, strenghtens even more the relationship between Nautica Italiana and the Foundation, demonstrating that the nautical sector can represent the best of the Made in Italy in the world – said Lamberto Tacoli, Nautica Italiana’s president – To enhance the artistic, cultural and industrial realities of excellence which stand out for their quality, innovation, design, taste and renown, are some of the values and aims that we share with Altagamma, which make us particularly proud of this awarding.”
Stefano Righini is the author of many innovations in lighting and arranging nautical layouts in the last 20 years, and of solutions which enhance the liveability of exterior spaces. Thanks to his visionary ideas, portholes where changed with larger hull fenestration, which brought much more light and views in cabins, the coupé and sport fly have been invented. Such characteristics have made the Italian nautical industry the first in the world and have influenced the choices of international companies of the sector.
The Altagamma Honorary Council was instituted in 2002 with the aim of strenghtening the relationship with International institutions and companies which have contributed to the promotion of the Italian culture of excellence and of the Italian Lifestyle in their countries. Since 2013, the International Honorary Concil is also open to Italian leading personalities who contribute to strenghten the Italian culture of excellence and to promote it in various sectors across the world with their knowledge and creativity.
Together with Righini, the tenor Andrea Bocelli, the artist Michelangelo Pistoletto and the designer Giorgetto Giugiaro have been awarded “Ambassadors of the Italian Excellence”.
