Il 2004 in Tecnicomar è l’anno che segna il brevetto e l’inizio della produzione di Ecomar, un Impianto per il Trattamento delle Acque Nere e Grigie di bordo conforme alle normative internazionali IMO/MARPOL e Coast Guard USA, con la possibilità dunque di scaricare direttamente in mare, senza accumulo di residui solidi. A basso consumo energetico, il quadro di comando e controllo a microprocessore con display LCD gestisce la modalità di funzionamento totalmente automatica ed è predisposto per il funzionamento manuale in emergenza.
