Sanlorenzo scheduled two new debuts in September 2015. The new SL86 motor yacht – the latest addition to its planing hull range – will be unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, where eight other boats will also be exhibited. On the other hand Sanlorenzo’s first steel explorer superyacht, the 42-metre explorer vessel 460Exp, will debut at the Monaco Yacht Show
SL86 motor yacht
The SL86 features an exterior living area in the bow with sofas, table, chairs and adjustable sun shades. The main salon has large windows allowing guests to enjoy the view even while seated, without substantial changes the classic Sanlorenzo lines. A floating glass staircase to the flying-bridge has been incorporated into the main lounge area in an elegant and contemporary style. As for its performance, the SL86 is powered by two MTU 12V2000 M94 (1947 HP) engines reaching a maximum speed of 32 knots.
460Exp superyacht
Sanlorenzo’s first explorer measures 42 metres in length and only 460 gross tons, and offers stability, security, autonomy, limited draft and a considerable agility for its category. The vessel can reach distant destinations navigating also close to the shoreline. It is spacious enough to house large equipment. To increase the comfort on board, on the lower deck there are a beach club with a bar, a sauna, a fitness area, a spa and a swimming pool where it is possible to swim against an artificial current. The 460Exp is equipped with two CAT C32 Acert engines (1319 HP) able to cover over 4000 nautical miles autonomously at a speed of 11 knots.
