sunseeker116The hull of the much anticipated Sunseeker 116 Yacht, whose launch is set in spring 2016, is currently being outfitted in Poole. The 116 Yacht shares the previous model’s engineering platform, while surprisingly updating the deck and superstructure design and increasing total volume.
The vessel’s lines, layout and interiors boast the new design direction that Sunseeker wishes to apply to all next generation 100ft+ models. The foredeck was developed into a whole entertainment area, with a different club concept and an optional hot tub. The flybridge features a retractable sunroof and an ample living  area, with room for a wet bar, sun-loungers, companion helm seating, and standard hot tub.
One of 116 Yacht’s interiors’ most notable features is larger and lower windows in the full beam master stateroom, creating a brighter accommodation without compromising privacy. In the saloon as well, full height windows combine with cut-away deck bulwarks to flood the living spaces with natural light.
The aft cockpit lounge area, bar and bathing platform provide everything owners and guests need to relax. The garage is spacious enough to host  a large tender and two jet skis. Standard layout includes accommodation for ten guests in five cabins, with up to five crew: other layout options are nonetheless possible.
Cruising at 16-18 knots or sprinting at up to 26 knots is made possible by careful focus on performance: different engine options can be selected according to the owner’s wishes.
Sunseeker reports that the first four hulls in the series have already been sold, and predicts the 116 Yacht line to extend its success over the next two years.
