The association affiliated with Fondazione Altagamma which groups together top-firms from the sector. The industry continues to have confidence in the Association’s strategic plan for the relaunch of the sector.
Just two months after the official presentation — and a few weeks since ten new brands joined — Nautica Italiana announces that another nine brands have decided to join the Association, bringing the total number of associates represented to 44.
The nine new high-end brands are: Amico Loano, DL Yachts Dreamline, Gallinea, Kifaru Yachts, ONI-Officine Navali Italiane, Opacmare, Pesto Sea Group, PortoMirabello and Tecnorib, representing the large yacht and motor boat production sectors, including inflatable boats, services, marinas and accessories.
“We are very pleased with the sector’s response to the Association’s goals and principles and proud of welcoming another nine brands which have demonstrated their confidence in our strategic plan by joining us. Thanks to the new members, Nautica Italiana is expanding the offer in areas complementary to shipbuilding, such as Services and Territories, and this allows us to add another element for pursuing our mission of offering full representation to the entire industry”, stated Lamberto Tacoli, Chairman of Nautica Italiana (in the picture above).
The association is aimed at grouping together the high-end companies from the entire sector — Industry, Services and Territories — to define, also through a constant, constructive dialogue with the relevant institutions, the strategy for the development of the nautical industry, both in Italy and internationally, promoting a sector at the premium end of Italian production. Despite the crisis, this industry has succeeded in maintaining quality standards and a capacity for innovation, thanks to a wealth of technical and cultural expertise that is unique in the world, in all areas, ranging from boat building and accessories right through to services.
Interest in Nautica Italiana’s programme and strategic plan continues unabated and another nine applications are currently being scrutinised by the Chairman’s Committee consisting of seven members: Lamberto Tacoli (Chairman); Luigi Alberto Amico, Cataldo Aprea, Fabio Boschi, and Giovanna Vitelli (Vice Chairpersons); Corrado Salvemini (Director); and Lorenzo Pollicardo (General Secretary).
