Zurn Yacht Design will proudly showcase three of their latest models at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2015. Two of those will have their U.S. debut at the show: MJM 50 powerboat and Vanquish 26 are to be found on display at the MJM Yachts (B dock 224-226) and at the Vanquish Boats Bahia Mar Land 1068-1070, respectively. Vendetta 57 footer commuter will instead be for sale at the water pavillion (SYBAss) in a very hi-profile position, adiacent to the Superyachts.
MJM 50
Zurn Yacht Design, Bob Johnstone (of J Boats fame) from MJM Yachts, and Boston Boatworks have teamed up to create a very unique line of powerboats. Beginning with the 2003 MJM 34z, they set out to establish new standards in design, construction and performance. All MJM yachts are designed from the ground up to be efficient and practical; featuring easily driven, light-weight hulls, modern propulsion, and suitable accommodations. Vanquish 26
Headquartered in Newport, Rhode Island, Vanquish brings you time-tested classic designs, the pride of generational craftsmen and the advantage of today’s exciting new materials and technologies. Our direct drive inboard models are offered in either gas or diesel power and our hull is equipped with a unique propeller and shaft pocket which provides a very modest 22-inch draft. Vendetta 57′ Billy Joel’s commuter
Zurn Yacht Design project N°0164 will be on display in a very hi-profile position adjacent to the superyachts at the water pavilion (SYBAss). In the wake of his highly successful 38’ Runabout with 50+ hulls built to date, Grammy-award winning musician Billy Joel again consulted with Zurn on creating an upscale 57’ Commuter Style Yacht.
