Benetti-Sketch-1200x393World renowned superyacht builder Benetti and Henrik Fisker, founder of Henrik Fisker Design and creator of iconic designs in several fields, are teaming up to create a new series of superyachts.
The first yacht of the series, a 50 metre vessel, is currently being designed at Fisker’s studio in California and is to be built at the Benetti facilities in Livorno, Italy in the heart of Tuscan coast.
The exterior of the new vessel will have a dramatic lines and be optimized for ocean views from all major cabins.
The interiors will feature the new design concept for each of the three decks that will enhance the space and emphasize comfortable and clean luxury living and state-of-the-art technology for automated controls and optimal power management. Accomodation is guaranteed for 12 guests in six cabins, looked after by 11 crew members with comfortable staff quarters. A beach club, spa, several bars, a pool and sunbathing areas on multiple decks will all be found onboard.
The yacht will use sustainable materials such as carbon fiber, reclaimed wood and  integrated solar panels, with the option of hybrid power.
Benetti is keeping most details about the new series confidential until the Yachts Miami Beach show in February.
Fisker’s early sketch doesn’t unveil details and features for the new yachts: considering Fisker’s previous designs like the flashy hybrid Fisker Karma car, however, we can imagine how strikingly unconventional it promises to be.
