The Major of Genoa Marco Doria and the President of Region Liguria Giovanni Toti organized a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce, Porto Antico, Ucina, Nautica Italiana, Fiera di Genova e Fiera di Milano, in order to discuss future development of the Genoa Boat Show.
The meeting took place at Palazzo Tursi on April 29th, and the Regional Councilor Edoardo Rixi and the Municipal Councilor Emanuele Piazza were also present: all attendants agreed to collaborate in defining a common strategy to strengthen and enhance the role of Genoa as host city for national and international events concerning the nautical industry. Such a meeting underlined the relevance of the Genoa Boat Show 2016 for both the nautical sector and the city itself: it is everyone’s aim to create a shared project to successfully face the challenges of the national and international market in the future.
