Damen SeaXplorer’s first hull sold

Damen SeaXplorerDamen announced that the first hull of the Damen SeaXplorer series has been sold.
The SeaXplorer range had been presented at the Monaco Yacht Show 2015, and it consists of three purpose-built Polar Code compliant models ranging from 65 to 100 metres. The first model sold is the 65-metre vessel. The SeaXplorer range was developed in partnership with Damen, Amels, Eyos Expeditions, and Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture.
The SeaXplorer 65 has been described by the Dutch shipyard as “a crossover between professional technology and superyacht exclusivity; it has proven capability where you need it, and superyacht luxury where you want it.”
Accommodating up to 12 guests onboard, she features all the luxury usually found on luxury superyachts: a crew of 20 will be taking care of owners and guests to their every need.
The SeaXplorer wil offer her new owner 40 days of autonomy. Her Sea Axe bow and icebreaking stern, an impressive selection of tenders and toys including a helicopter, dive support boat, two zodiac RIBs, a submarine and four waverunners, will allow for extremely various exploration possibilities all over the world. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2019.
