Ascendance, 111-metre superyacht concept to be presented in Monaco

ascendanceThe British Andy Waugh Yacht Design studio, together with Nobiskrug, created a new 111-metre superyacht concept, named Ascendance, which will be officially unveiled at the upcoming edition of the Monaco Yacht Show.
The vessel, despite her dimensions, features a lightweight design: her slender and low volume steel hull, combined with carbon and steel exterior, make her about 25% lighter than other yachts this size. Ascendance is also fuel-efficient, thanks to lightweight materials and hybrid, bio-diesel/electric propulsion systems.
The German yacht builder Nobiskrug is responsible of the vessel’s strong and bold styling features, which give Ascendance an aggressive yet elegant exterior. Being a five-deck superyacht, Ascendance will offer amazing sea views from each level. The interior of the yacht, designed by London and Paris-based Motor Yacht Design Company, features plenty of lounge space on each deck, as well as outward-facing glass to optimize ocean views.
A retractable helipad on the foredeck, in line with the owner’s deck, allows for short flights to locations where it would be hard to land with such a big vessel. Outdoor features include a large pool with dramatic waterfall on the main deck and a sunken fire pit on bridge deck.
Eight cabins will comfortably accommodate guests on the main deck, while the owner’s suite takes up the entire forward upper deck, with a large study, dressing area, and bedroom. On the lower deck, there will be a gym, beach lounge and a Zen room, as well as a private cinema. The lower deck would also house a spa club with a steam room, sauna, massage room, and scuba locker.
