Turquoise Yachts’ 47-metre Razan launched

turquoise_razanTurquoise Yachts’ 47-metre project NB60, named Razan, has been recently launched at the shipyard’s facility in Pendik.
This yacht is the first one to be launched under the company’s newly branded name of Turquoise Yachts (previously known as Proteksan Turquoise) and the first to leave the shipyard after the previous model Ileria, delivered in 2013.
London-based studio H2 Yacht Design took care of both the exterior and interior design, working in close collaboration with Turquoise Yachts.
The original exterior design of Razan has been revised by H2 Yacht Design throughout the build, and it features clean and sharper lines, which make a much more modern profile.
The new design includes an extended swim platform and beach area, larger windows forward on the main deck and the removal of fashion plates on both the main and upper aft decks to provide clearer vantage points from deck. The sundeck has also been rearranged to features a Jacuzzi, a central bar, a hot tub forward, and a generous sitting area. The foredeck has been fitted with storage space for two tenders and two jet skis. The main deck has an elegant dining area, while the upper deck full-beam saloon is multi-functional.
The new layout of the lower deck allows for two VIP and two guest cabins. An additional cabin can be found behind the bridge. Razan can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests across 6 cabins, assisted by 9 crew members.
The vessel, just under 500 gross tonnage, features twin Caterpillar 3512B main engines, which allow for an estimated top speed of 16 knots. The delivery is expected at the beginning of 2017.
