The Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo concluded the year with the thirtieth launch of 2016. The 11th unit of the SD112 model has been launched at the yard’s facilities in Viareggio, the ones dedicated to the construction of the largest models in Sanlorenzo’s fiberglass lines.
The SD112 is part of the historic Sanlorenzo semi-displacement (SD) fibreglass line: measuring 34.1 metres in length, it is in between the SD92 and the SD126 and combines the best features of both. The SD112 is the second model in Sanlorenzo’s semi-displacement GRP line. The yacht is powered by two 900 kW MTU 10V2000 M72 engines, allowing for a top speed of 15 knots, and it accommodates owners and guests across 4 cabins (3 VIP cabins and the master’s suite).
Alongside with the impressive number of launches, 2016 has also been the year of the shipyard’s acquisition of a new production site in La Spezia for yachts ranging from 40 to 80 metres.
