Ferretti Group is attending the 40th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival with a fleet of 25 yachts and 6 premieres. The Group presented brilliant financial and economic data for the current year, which confirm its leader position.
At the Cannes event, marking the beginning of the new nautical year, Ferretti Group is showcasing the largest fleet, with 25 yachts ranging from 8 to 37 metres, including the successful Rivamare right at the entrance of the kermesse, in front of Palais des Festivals.
6 premières and 1 restyling further represent the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Riva and Custom Line brands: Ferretti Yachts 780 and Ferretti Yachts 920, besides the new version of Ferretti Yachts 550; Pershing 9X; 56’ Rivale and 100’ Corsaro for Riva; Navetta 33 for Custom Line.
In addition to the 6 new yachts, Ferretti Group’s fleet in Cannes is composed of: Ferretti Yachts 450, Ferretti Yachts 700 and Ferretti Yachts 850; Pershing 5X, Pershing 62, Pershing 82 and the maxi coupé Pershing 108; Itama 75; Iseo, Aquariva Super, Rivamare, 63’ Virtus, 76’ Perseo, 76’ Bahamas, 88’ Florida and 88’ Domino Super for Riva; Navetta 37 for Custom Line.
The Ferretti Group stand is set up in the Espace Riviera Palais057 Jetée 011 exhibition area, while the Custom Line yachts are moored at the Super Yacht Extension, in front of the SYE193 lounge. At JETEE 008 pier visitors can admire Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing and Itama fleets, moored in front of their respective lounges.

Ferretti Yachts 920
The Ferretti Yachts 920 flybridge stands out thanks to its monumental, dynamic forms, its innovative design features, its superb functional flexibility and the vast spaces in its ground-breaking bow area, all of which can be used by guests. The interiors are just as breath taking. They are worthy of a super yacht, with numerous spacious relaxation areas and sophisticated layouts steeped in original, unprecedented elegance.
Ferretti Yachts 780
This flybridge of 24 meters is a perfect blend of comfort, style, seaworthiness and safety. This yacht is the magnificent result of an intelligent evolution, the boat where you wish to be when you dream of a modern and rewarding sailing experience. Its aerodynamic design is manifested in sleek lines and clean shapes, accentuated by the choice to resize the height of the hull’s topsides, to the benefit of the yacht’s overall sporty character.
Ferretti Yachts 550 Restyling
The restyling was based on a concept that was already so admired accentuating the innovative elements. The main deck’s uninterrupted glazing once more ‘cuts’ the yacht’s profile, emphasising its dynamic look. The three large glazed windows on the hull sides, with flush portholes – the cabin windows – perfectly complement the overall design and grant magnificent views from the interiors, as well as plenty of natural light. It is in the design of the interiors, however, that the restyling took an original and surprising approach, which can be seen in the extremely refined choice of furnishings, made possible thanks to partnerships with the most prestigious luxury brands, offering the most sophisticated expressions of “Made in Italy” quality.
The second chapter of the new “Generation X” is a maxi coupe with aggressive lines and lavish comfort. The new 9X has a broad use of carbon as the main construction material, along with fiberglass and epoxy resin. The result is a powerful yacht in the sea, rich in fittings and equipped with numerous technological innovations that offer a unique navigation experience and ease of maneuver, even in confined waters, unthinkable on a yacht over 90 feet. The prestigious ten-year collaboration with Poltrona Frau gave birth to a magnificent design: an extremely sporty dashboard, a stylistic and technical masterpiece, ready to surprise the world.
Riva 100’ Corsaro
A descendent from legendary models, the new flybridge yacht is the perfect blend of comfort, performance, style and safety. Its majestic size is complemented – in an exceptionally balanced way – by a sporty look distinguished by a sleek outline, metallic colours in dark shades and broad expanses of glass. It is equipped with advanced and has been built with the greatest attention paid to detail in its design.
Riva 56’ Rivale
56’ Rivale expresses great dynamism, elegance and sportiness from the moment you set your eyes on it, thanks to the design elements that have made Riva open yachts unique in the world. The new 56-foot Riva yacht is a boat with a unique style, excellent performance at sea and cutting-edge technological solutions. It combines the utmost attention to every detail with the use of the finest quality materials – the distinctive hallmarks of the brand – from the high gloss mahogany of the interiors to the natural teak of the exteriors, as well as lacquered finishes, stainless steel details, mirrored and glazed surfaces, and superior leathers.
Custom Line Navetta 33
The Navetta 33 introduces considerable technical advances to the series, which serve to complement the innovations that have already been admired in previous Custom Line models. The design of the bottom continues in the direction first taken by the Navetta 37. The hull of the Navetta 33 features a bulbous forward to ensure performance at the top of its class in terms of seaworthiness, stability and, most of all, efficiency in any seas. The yacht offers fabulous spaces to owners and their guests across all four decks: from the wide body Master Suite forward on the main deck through to the four guest cabins on the lower deck.
At the Ferretti Group’s press conference, Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, together with the Chief Commercial Officer, Stefano de Vivo, presented the financial results achieved until August 2017, which go beyond expectations, confirming the targets for the entire year.
As at August 31st, 2017, Ferretti Group recorded a consolidated order book for serial brands equal to 259 million Euros, in line with the budget estimates for the current financial year. The Group expects to close the year with a total purchase order for serial brands of around 400 million Euros, confirming and consolidating the extraordinary result already achieved in 2016.
The Group continued its strong commercial penetration on a global scale. In percentage terms, as at August 31st, 2017, Europe – Middle East – Africa contributed for 53% of new orders, Americas for 28% and Asia Pacific for 19%.
The commercial success and the continuous improvement in efficiency and productivity in all the Group’s shipyards led to the achievement, after the first 8 months of 2017, of consolidated revenues of 344 million Euros, +10% compared to the same period of 2016.
EBIT and EBITDA, as at August 31st, are both positive, 24.5 million and 37.3 million Euros, respectively.
These results led to a firmly positive profit before taxes, reaching 16.5 million Euros as of August 31st, 2017, with a 57% increase compared to the results 12 months ago.
As usual, Ferretti Group collaborates with numerous prestigious luxury partners during the Festival that further enrich the unique experience of visitors and shipowners, already gratified by the yacht visits and sea trials.
This year Pershing and Poltrona Frau celebrate their ten-year partnership anniversary. The brand’s consolidated partner is the designer and producer of the entire soft décor on board, while Ixoost presents its finest quality audio systems featuring a contemporary and genuine design on the Pershing yachts.
Seabob, one of Ferretti Group’s sponsor for the Soirée Nautique (the late opening night of the show that will take place on Friday, September 15th), offers a fun and fast paced water experience to Ferretti’s guests. Moreover, the brand presents its world premier limited edition with customized livery, designed specifically for the Group’s brands.
The maison Pommery is the official champagne of the Group, while the Italian wine producer, La Scolca offers a wide selection of its outstanding wines, that can be tasted at the stand.
Regarding fashion, the partnership with Dolce & Gabbana, designer of Ferretti Group’s uniforms, has been renewed, while Hernò is the Group’s main sponsor for of the Soirée Nautique where the renowned brand will exhibit its products by combining them with the colours of the Group’s brands, giving life to the “Colorful Night”.
Maserati, sponsor of the entire Festival, provides a courtesy car service for the Group’s guests, while Globeair is the official partner of Ferretti Group for private air travel. Culti Milano proposes fragrances that will make visitors dream on board of the yachts and in the lounges, while the charming Arquati arbours and Dyson design fans will protect guests by pleasantly refreshing the whole area of the stands.
