Beneteau had their 50-foot Gran Turismo 50 world-debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
The Gran Turismo range of power boats is characterised by a large central cockpit and spacious entertaining areas, but most of all Gran Turismo yachts are quick to accelerate, easy to handle and provide impressive top speed. High-quality finishing is also typical from the world-renowned boat builder Beneteau.
Beneteau is known for making what was considered inaccessible accessible to the mass market via their world-class production facilities. Innovations such as Ship Control, which provides user-friendly, centralised access to all the boat controls, and Air Step 2® hull design which delivers fast, smooth and comfortable driving, take these boats to the next level.
An integral part of the Gran Turismo range is Beneteau’s “Full space” concept which means that the main deck is completely open for seamless indoor/outdoor living with a cleverly concealed fully retractable glass door for comfortable days out on the water.
The Gran Turismo 50 offers the option to choose between a two or three cabin layout, with full beam owner suite and en-suite shower room. Buyers can also choose between the Hardtop option with extra protection and an elegant retractable sunroof or the Sportfly with the second driving station for spectacular views from the elevated helm position. Other key features on both models include a tender garage capable of storing a Williams Minijet 270, a submersible swim platform for water sports and a forward sunbathing lounge.
The Gran Turismo 50 has also been nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2018 (over 45 feet).
